An Intelligent Perspective On Love

January 25, 2021 by Gabe Leave a Comment

Intro

This isn’t an answer to the age-old question “what is love?” Rather, I simply want to lay out a perspective on love that’s formed from an intelligent approach. Why? Because I feel as if many people have already explained love through the lenses of poetry, philosophy, and writing, and because I feel like a perspective like this is refreshing/helpful for obtaining and retaining a high level of wellbeing.

The Biological Aspects

Love can very easily be considered a chemical cocktail of oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, and other chemicals that make us feel good! Studies are showing that meditation allows us to produce a higher level of these chemicals, and my argument is that this is a very big reason why we feel good while we meditate.

And love can easily be physical self-care, such as exercising, eating healthily, and preventing ourselves and others from getting hurt. Even if the most poetic writer of love were to eat their own optimal diet they would feel much more elevated since taking care of our biological self is a very, very grounded and effective way of being healthy and loving ourselves.

The Metaphysical Aspects

When we travel into our mind we can form the intention of going deep into our heart to see what’s inside. We can also choose to become more grateful and loving, and for me, this often produces a white/green color that I can see in my mind.

Love can very easily be considered to be a certain energy field, just like how authenticity can easily be considered to be a certain energy field. We can say any words we please but the tone and energy we speak them often leaves a much greater impact (for better or for worse) than the actual words themselves. This seems to be widely known, however, I don’t see the knowledge being applied very often. That is, why not try to speak with loving energy instead of “lower” energy, even if it’s hard?

On Loving People Being Taken Advantage Of

People who are born with big hearts are often born with a decreased IQ. I don’t know why, but it would be interesting to find out.

This often leads to them being taken advantage of, sometimes without them even realizing it. And sometimes they even rationalize it to themselves and others, especially if one of their family members is the wrongdoer. Being agreeable and swallowing the corruption has its place, however, I feel as if many good-hearted people should stand up against it since that’s often what’s best for their long-term wellbeing.

Summary

At the end of the day, love is most strongly experienced as a feeling. It is its own unique experience and it’s strongly considered to be positive and genuine, biological and metaphysical.

We see (feel) this when we take DMT and 5-MeO-DMT most prominently! Yes, we can increase our sense of love through meditation and conscious intention, however ingesting these molecules more often than not produces a feeling of love that is so prominent and so intense that it is unrivaled by everything else.

Once we know that love is a combination of the physical and the metaphysical we can appreciate it and take very effective steps to live in it long-term 🙂

Final Thoughts

The higher level of “base love” we have as a species the less destruction we partake in. Love, in essence, is regenerative, and so my theory is the more psychedelic trips we partake in the less destruction we inflict, and the higher our quality of life will be as a result. And we raise the “base level” of collective love by raising the level of love within ourselves and encouraging others to do the same 🙂

However, it seems to me like many people in power want the opposite of this. They yearn for destruction, no matter if it’s physical or metaphysical, but even so, love continues to ultimately rule over fear.

Conclusion

Thank you so much for reading! I’ll see you in the next post 🙂

Why We Should Question Everything!

January 21, 2021 by Gabe Leave a Comment

Quick Facts

-Asking questions is an amazing way to build knowledge, and knowledge is an incredible thing to have!

-Asking questions is one of the best ways to build and entertain our curiosity, which is a very pure state of being!

Intro

In American society, the art and value of asking questions is almost forgotten! Questions are often thought of as weak, unnecessary, or even detrimental when quite the opposite is true – they are valuable, critical for expanding our minds, and very helpful for establishing wellbeing!

So, without further ado, let’s get started!

The Open Mind and The Closed Mind

A question is a sentence that encourages a response, particularly a response that helps form an understanding and/or a particular feeling (sometimes we say, “that makes sense” when someone gives an answer, sense being a particular feeling).

One of the defining characteristics of a closed mind is the inability and unwillingness to ask and answer questions, and this is one of the main reasons why those with closed minds often live low-vibrational lives. If we don’t ask ourselves why we’re angry, for example, we’ll probably keep becoming angry at the same things/people for the rest of our lives.

On the other hand, one of the defining characteristics of an open mind is the ability and willingness to ask and answer questions! If we ask as many questions as we possibly can, after all, then we’ll reach our enlightenment much quicker. We’ll also have a lot of knowledge and understanding, and we’ll constantly be developing our critical thinking skills along the way.

Having an open mind isn’t a guarantee of obtaining the state of the mystic, but it certainly helps. This begs the question, “is the open mind simply superior to the closed mind?” I tend towards yes, and mostly because those with closed minds are usually so resistant to letting their minds become open, even when it’s the best thing for them to do. Sometimes these people will ask questions and not even care about the answers they receive!

But, perhaps my biggest qualm with these kinds of people (while I’m looking at life through this perspective) is that they can very well encourage other people to be just like them. They can (and sometimes will) encourage people to comply instead of question, relax instead of think, become complacent, etcetera. This is mostly why I don’t like most of the entertainment culture: the entertainers try their best to keep people enthralled in their content instead of being genuine or throwing in there that “hey, maybe you could ask some important questions here and there.” This post is being made in direct contradiction to the force of “you don’t need to question, just sit down” “you don’t need to question, just get back to work” that I see everywhere I go (especially on the TV).

Why Questions Are Valuable

Allow me to make my case!

Questions are valuable because the dialog they encourage is valuable. The understanding they build is valuable. And, answering them correctly/honestly can very well lead to positive things!

For example, let’s go through a question that many people would find uninteresting (or even stupid): “Why are the leaves on a tree green?” Already we have two ways we can answer this question; one, we can give the biological explanation, and two, we can ask the philosophical follow-up question, “why is anything green?”

If we ask the latter question we can come up with the answer, “because our eyes have cones that allow us to see the color” or “because the basic functions of the universe operate in such a way to where some things appear green to our eyes!”

If we continue the chain by asking why the universe operates in such a way, we’ve essentially asked, “why does the universe do what it does?” This is quite the philosophical venture, and philosophical ventures can certainly lead to wellbeing in and of themselves, even without going any further (which you definitely can)!

So, even the simplest and most basic of questions can lead to realization, understanding, and enlightenment. Why are they like this? Because they’re a high-vibrational thing to participate in, whereas going off of what we know without ever asking any questions is often the opposite!

Some Of The Best Questions To Ask/Answer

While every question can lead to understanding, some questions should (probably) take precedence over others.

For example, questions that pertain to the physical portion of our immediate, everyday lives. “How can I make my business more profitable?” “I’m having a hard time doing my job, how can I make this easier on myself?” “Where did I put my sweats?” “Why is Elvis Presley under my bed?” You know, things that are important! If we make our day-to-day lives as fulfilling as possible we’ll be living a good life!

Then, there are subjective questions. “Why do I feel this way?” “How can I stop feeling pain without getting drunk or addicted?” “How can I feel more positivity?” “Which of my beliefs are detrimental and holding me back?” “How can I properly build my inner reality?” “Which beliefs do I want to believe, if at all” “What do I need to do, say, or think for my enlightenment?”

Don’t forget the big-picture questions! “What do I want to be known for, if anything at all?” “Which parts of my life can benefit from a big-picture perspective?” “Which events/issues/people should I look at with a big-picture perspective?” These questions are particularly useful for building patience and alleviating anxiety.

There are philosophical questions: “what is life?” “Why am I here?” “What is death, and why are we so afraid of it?” “Is it a game or is it serious?” “What were the previous philosophers trying to accomplish?” “What did the previous philosophers discover?” “What thought process can I engage in that will help me discover the most?”

The intellectual questions: “how can I develop my intelligence?” “Which kind(s) of intelligence do I possess?” “What exactly is intelligence?” “What are some intelligent things to do, and ask?”

The spiritual questions: “what is spirituality?” “Do I believe it isn’t real, or that it is? Why?” “Do I believe it’s good, or just a hoax? Why?”

And, the most important question of them all: Where exactly is Jimmy Hoffner buried?!”

Why are these good questions to ask? Because, when they are answered, and especially when they’re continued with more questions, they raise our understanding of ourselves, the physical world, and metaphysical states. They promote dialog between ourselves and others, and they’re quite crucial for self-integration and emotional awareness, two things which greatly help with our well-being!

Final Thoughts

I feel like I missed some important questions. If I did, please tell them to me in the comments below!

Also, while being curious has been extremely beneficial to me in more ways than I care to explain, I do recommend taking care of yourself and stopping if you feel like you’re getting a bit too curious. 🙂

Conclusion

Thank you so much for reading my post! I’m truly grateful to spend this time with you, and I’ll see you later! 🙂

How To Think

January 4, 2021 by Gabe Leave a Comment

Quick Facts

-Organizing your mind and deciding how you want to think often helps you filter your action, reach your goals, analyze, create understanding, and come to conclusions in a more efficient, faster, and better way!

-Using our intelligence to figure out how to avoid our pain/trauma/crappy situations is, well, painful! Using our intelligence to feel and release our pain feels a lot better!

Intro

Thinking is something most of us do, however thinking about how we think and trying to think differently is a totally different story – I commend you for being brave enough to read this post as a matter of fact!

Ever since I was a young child I’ve enjoyed critical thinking, and over the years I’ve realized a ton of cool things, including some great ways to think and some not-so-great ways to think.

Why Think At All?

The old saying, “ignorance is bliss” is known by almost everyone. A combination of ignorance and confidence is indeed the key to success in this world, however, I suspect that you’re here because you already think. I suspect that you’re intelligent and that you’re looking to refine your skills by taking the advice of a man on the internet!

Even if I were to say “yes, you shouldn’t think” (which I won’t) there are those out there who are naturally-born thinkers and those who wish to develop their intelligence. So I write this post for you, avid mind user, to make sure you have the best perspectives possible when you’re thinking about… Well, anything 🙂

How Do We Know When We’ve Chosen The Right Way(s) To Think?

This is a great question since anyone can say anything. It’s super easy for some guy to go “oh, I’ll just sucker these people by telling him how to think, even though I don’t have a monkey’s clue myself,” so please allow me to iterate.

You know you’ve chosen the right way(s) to think when you’ve chosen the right things/people/experiences to have and experience in your life and when you’ve chosen to bring said things/people/experiences in your life. If you ask yourself, “why am I thinking? Is it for the dance or the end result? What is the end result I’m trying to reach?” you’ll quickly uncover your goals, wishes, and desires. Once you’ve uncovered them it’s up to you to decide whether or not they are the right wishes, goals, and desires because of how pleasurable, enlightening, and healthy they are for you (and subsequently everyone around you) in the long run.

Let’s say you desire money. A lot of thought will go into your job and how to do it properly, and/or thought will go into how to make money. Let’s say you desire chips. Some thought will go into when and where to buy and eat the chips, especially when the time is near.

But, should these things even be desired in the first place? And if so, should they be desired along with other things/experiences/people? These are things that can be quickly figured out if we know how to properly think.

Great Ways To Think

First, I always like to ask the question, “what/who should I aim for that is in my very best interest?” After I answer the question and refine it over time I come up with a list of goals, hobbies, people, experiences, etc to obtain, and all that’s left is thinking about how to get there.

Then, I adopt one (or multiple) ways of thinking when I ask myself, “how will I achieve my goals/be around the people I want to be around/etc?” And here is my list of great ways to think:

-The open-mind approach. Many people call this meditation, however, I always like to approach my goals, desires, beliefs, problems, fears, etc with an open mind, especially if I created them myself. I enjoy leaving this state of mind unlabeled because of its relaxing, visual, and enlightening effects, however, it can be called the Philosopher’s Mind or the Mystic’s Mind.

-The strategic approach. This kind of thinking is logical, based on observation, and often oriented towards a goal or two. If you’ve already formed some great goals you may enjoy thinking like this since it’ll help you achieve them. Detectives think like this!

-The conceptual approach. Being able to play out events in your mind (as if you were creating and watching a movie) is great for figuring out what to do, say, and how to be in any particular situation without seeming “off” to others around you.

-The feel-good approach. We do a lot with the ultimate goal of feeling good, and so one question I like to ask myself is, “which feelings do I desire and what is the quickest, most efficient, and healthiest way to feel those feelings?” When I answer myself I begin to give myself the feelings I desire, sometimes by meditating and stating to myself, “I choose to produce more oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine,” etc.

-The integration or “what’s wrong?” approach. I enjoy integrating parts of myself that I haven’t integrated yet, particularly if they bother me, so if I’m finding something bothersome I’ll always ask myself “what’s wrong?” and do a logical analysis from there.

Some Detrimental Ways To Think

One of the worst ways to think is when we think about how to achieve goals without thinking about if the goals are good or bad for us. Being irrational isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but when we’re being irrational and our behavior is detrimental to our overall, long-term wellbeing then something should probably change.

Another terrible way to use our intelligence is if we’re trying to avoid pain or trauma that’s stuck inside of our mind and/or body. Alternatively, if we’re using it to avoid our emotions as a whole. If we’re high in intelligence it’s almost always a good idea to consciously pay attention to and develop our emotional side, and if we’re highly emotional it’s almost always a good idea to consciously pay attention to and develop our mind.

If you think about how and why you think, and when you answer the questions you ask yourself, things often develop themselves from there 🙂

Final Thoughts

At the peak of intelligence, when enough knowledge is gathered, we can experience something called “intellectual enlightenment.” Many people have coined this term “opening your 3rd eye,” however I’ve experienced it as a positive emotion inside of my head. I feel it right now as I write about it! When I feel it my search for intelligence is replaced with a certain contentment, and I feel like producing instead of consuming. I feel as if it is the same for you, however, I wouldn’t be surprised if intellectual enlightenment is different for you than it is for me.

Also, in my opinion, knowing which ways to think and at which times is a great skill to cultivate! Considering this can result in an endless loop, though, so I don’t recommend getting too carried away with deciding how to think at what time.

Conclusion

Thank you so much for reading my post! It’s very abstract but it covers just about everything on a general level, and I’ll see you in the next article!

How The Educational System Should Be Improved

November 15, 2020 by Gabe Leave a Comment

Quick Facts

-Our current educational system in America isn’t very effective! We don’t teach many things that we should be teaching.

-There are many ways of letting a child learn without having to rely on an institution to teach them.

-We should teach our children how to think, speak, and write. We should teach them all about mental, emotional, and physical health. We should teach them how to build and keep healthy relationships. And more!

Intro

The educational system has a lot of potential in America but it doesn’t live up to it, often through no fault of the teachers themselves. I’ve personally seen and met many teachers who say what the problem really is, and I’ll take the next step by offering some pieces of information we should teach our children and by offering some systems that work by replacing the educational environment. Enjoy the read!

Why Institutions At All?

It’s a good question. After all, children naturally learn everything they need to as they grow up and discover the world! We never needed schools to begin with and we still don’t, especially with how terrible many of them are in America – all we really need to learn is language and (maybe) mathematics.

Let’s think it through – if we had no schools then children would stay at home. Since they’re naturally curious they would ask questions and the parents would answer them. But since they’re naturally curious they’ll want to see the outside world. The patents let them see the outside world and, of course, they meet new people who teach them new things, often naturally.

Depending on their level of curiosity they’ll ask more and more questions and learn more and more things as everyone around them educates them and as they educate themselves. As they grow up they’ll probably have many connections and have at least a few marketable skills, and they’ll have enjoyed it in the process since they were naturally being themselves all along.

Schools are not a need, but a want – we like to build these complex corporate environments and tell our children to educate themselves so they can make money in a complicated world. But what if the child did better by spending their time building a skill instead? What if they take the time they would have spent in school and use it in ways that benefit them more than school would? Many of us don’t consider these questions because we tend to assume that we know best and that they need to be taught what’s right (with some key exceptions of course)!

My answer is this: having these institutions can be beneficial if we are teaching our children the right things. This is the reason we have them, not because they’re just a place to send our kids to every day. We certainly shouldn’t make them mandatory, but a choice, and a choice that would benefit them if they made it!

Things Worth Learning

“Okay then, what are some things that are actually worth learning?”

There are some things that are worth learning early on in life! These things include:

-Language and math. If we cannot speak we may have a hard time communicating, and being able to count things and perform calculations is quite useful. We don’t need to overdo it, but if the child can and wants to excel that’s fine too!

-How to be psychologically, physically, and emotionally healthy. We should definitely teach our children some basic (and possibly in-depth) information about how to be and stay healthy on these three dimensions. This is one of if not the most important part of my post – I really want to see our schools teach this vital information to our children as early in their childhood as they possibly can, especially when it comes to the value of healthy food and how to cook healthy food.

-How to think, speak, and write. There are many ways to think, learning how to speak is an art in and of itself, and being able to write effectively opens up all kinds of opportunities!

-How to form and maintain healthy relationships. This. Is. Huge! If school taught us how to form healthy relationships instead of throwing us into the fire we would probably be okay for the rest of our lives regardless of the skills/talents we have/develop. Everyone has their friend type(s) and being able to stay within those friend groups (and to approach new ones) with great socialization skills taught in school is a solid solution to the lack of socializing that social media has brought upon us.

-Emotions and emotional intelligence. Can you imagine how far we’d go if school gave us an accurate description of every emotion, how it feels, what the long-term effects of holding onto that emotion are, which ones are positive and which ones are negative, and that we can more or less control our emotions at all times? We’d never have any questions about passion, confidence, fulfillment, meaning, love, happiness, intuition, understanding, or sexual desire because we learned about them and how to feel these things in school! This part is very important too not only because emotional fulfillment is important, but also because many of us in America are actively searching for it.

-Speaking of sexual desire, we should go above and beyond our normal sex-ed and give them basic information on how to genuinely please men and women. This will save some frustration from both parties later on in life!

-Intelligence and spirituality. I want our schools to show our children the works of intelligent and spiritual people, and what it really means to be intelligent and spiritual. This way they at least see the sides of life that, if they develop, will help them live better and more fulfilling lives.

-Real-life, tangible skills. Some skills that come to mind are woodworking, welding, driving, gardening (and generally tending to the earth), mechanical skills, and the option to transfer to a trade school for the last 1-3 years of high school.

-How to self-improve and how to self-realize! If you know how and which areas to self-improve in you’ll be just fine when you get out of school, and knowing how to realize yourself (opening your 3rd eye, psychedelics, strengthening your mind, etc) is… Well, the thing to do.

-Beliefs and intentions. Since beliefs and intentions are so f-ing powerful we should be learning about these within our first week of starting school! We should teach them what they are, what they do, how they can use them to live in well-being, and all about negative beliefs and intentions as well… As a start! As an extension to this, we should teach them how to distinguish between positive and negative (regenerative and detrimental) behavior and feelings since these are offshoots of what we believe and intend.

-How to stay strong in hard times. So many people just blow in the wind when a trial or a hard time comes around, but we should be teaching their children how to stand up during hard times and how to be successful while doing so.

-How to live a healthy, balanced life.

Our school systems should definitely be focusing on teaching these things instead of what they’re teaching now. Schools in America have gotten so lax that they’re producing graduates who don’t have a single clue about the things they should know, and this should’ve changed yesterday.

Systems That Work

I also want to give some alternate systems that work just as well (if not better) than the current educational structure we see in America.

-First, we can have a system where we don’t change anything from what we see now except anything that is needed to teach our children what they should be taught. This is probably the most pragmatic solution because we can keep the structure the way it is and only make changes to accommodate the fact that we’re teaching our children all of the things I mentioned above.

-We can have no schools altogether. This also works as I mentioned above – we don’t have to make life so complicated, and I assert that letting life become simple again is healthier for us and the environment.

-We can build a system where no part of school is mandatory and everything’s optional, kind of like college! Does your child struggle in math but excel in woodshop? Pull them out of math and put them in woodshop! School doesn’t have to (I argue shouldn’t) be mandatory, and having school/parts of school be optional seems to be best for the child as well.

-Depending on the child/children in question we can give them the option to self-educate. This will work if the child is ambitious and expresses a unique interest in a subject or two, they should be allowed to pursue it/them and receive credibility for it. This can also work in combination with sending them to school!

-Also, we as parents can simply do what’s best for the child overall. I understand this requires attention and effort, but each child has their own wants, interests, strengths, and weaknesses, and helping them go in the direction they naturally want to go without interfering too much (IE, forcing them to participate in a broken school system) is definitely a better option for your precious child!

Conclusion

The educational system largely shapes how well and successful our children are for the rest of their lives. Right now, at the end of 2020, the school system in America is setting its own children up for failure by failing to teach them the proper things and by failing to encourage the parents to treat them in the proper way. It’s truly a mess, and I encourage you to take some of the mess upon yourself and clean it up as best as you can.

A Call To Legalize Psychedelics – Or Else, To Use Them!

November 14, 2020 by Gabe Leave a Comment

Quick Facts

-Psychedelics, psilocybin mushrooms, in particular, are very healthy for us! It’s for this reason that we should legalize and integrate them into our country as soon as possible!

-We can minimize the dangers of psychedelics by taking the necessary precautions!

Intro!

Psychedelics have been a part of our history for longer than most of us think! The earliest evidence of usage we know of is 7,000-9,000 years old, and we have evidence that psychedelics have been steadily used in many different cultures around the world throughout these 9,000 years. Only recently has the law been trying to control our perception about these substances by making them illegal and talking bad about them.

So, we’ve been using them for 9,000 years and we’re still alive as a species? That alone should tell you something right there. Why is the law trying to cover them up? And what are they, exactly? Why am I writing a call to legalize and use them? Let’s answer these questions down below 🙂

What Psychedelics Are All About

Aight lemme say something:

Almost irregardless of the psychedelic it shows you what’s really happening. And, they can show you that what’s happening is meaningful in and of itself!

I make this call because (especially in the case of substances that are naturally psychedelic such as psilocybin mushrooms, DMT, etc) our quality of life was much higher when we were ingesting them many millennia ago. We stopped, and now we’ve turned into… this. And yes, it’s because we stopped, it’s not just a coincidence :p

They’re all about opening your mind and giving you the opportunity to do so many things… To see and feel so many things… They really make our quality of life shoot right through the roof, so much so that it’s impossible to capture the entirety of it and put it into words, and so much so that too many of us are chronically suffering as a result of abstaining from them.

Why They’re Illegal and Talked Down Upon

Let’s say you want total control and that you’re willing to obtain and maintain it at any cost. You get into government, start at the bottom, and work your way to the top… The very top. (I understand this is unrealistic but bear with me.) You’re part of the elite and you have the power to do anything. What would you do?

Well since you want total control and since you’re willing to obtain and retain it at any cost you’d subtly control what the TV stations can or cannot play, and what the movies/shows can or cannot say. You’d put regulations on corporations so that they have to pay you and follow your rules just so they can stay in business. You’d control what the public school system teaches children. You’d be constantly attempting mind-control experiments to see which ones are the most effective.

And, you’d be searching for and eliminating any possible threats that threaten to remove you from power. This largely includes armies and arsenals from other countries, free thinkers, speakers who expose their ways… And psychedelics.

Psychedelics have an amazing capability for exposing the government for what it really is; certain people expressing who they are and what they desire. They can show you that just because someone writes something down as policy or law doesn’t mean that it should be backed with physical force and that the law should be scrutinized and seen for what it really is – a fear-based agenda of keeping a few in power.

“But, doesn’t the law keep criminals from getting their way? Doesn’t it keep us safe?” Many criminals are a result of a combination of poverty and anger/resentment. Why are people poor? Because they don’t have enough money. Why don’t they have enough money? Because their job only gives them just enough to survive, just enough to get them through till their next paycheck. Why? In some cases, it’s because the company is greedy, but in other cases, it’s because they’re bound by so many legal obligations that they couldn’t afford to pay their employees more even if they want to. Also, because the employee cannot move up or get a better job. Why? Because they weren’t taught how to do either of those two things!

Why are poor people angry/resentful? Usually, it’s because they grow up with people who are the same way. But why do they stay like this? Because no one tells them better, no one tells them that it’s a good idea to ask themselves why they’re angry and how they do everything they can to help themselves have better lives and have less resentment. And who’s responsible for teaching children the right things? The parents, but who taught the parents? The school system. And who runs the school system?

Uh-huh, you guessed it…

Ultimately, the government creates the very problem that it claims to eradicate. It’s rules, laws, regulations, and endless thirst for power (combined with negligence and ignorance) negatively affect everybody else and encourage criminals to become criminals. Then they step in and claim to cure the problem by putting them in prison, but people don’t actually learn from going to prison… They learn by taking psychedelics!

This is why the law has banned these substances, they don’t want us seeing through their charade. They don’t want us to figure it out and notice what these substances have to offer us. But my biggest fear is that you respect the law and therefore go with what they say; I request that you respect me even more, listen to what I say, and try psilocybin mushrooms for yourself with the correct intentions while alone and safe.

And besides this, the law goes out of its way to incriminate innocent people, especially people who take psychedelic substances, as I’ve mentioned before. That alone should be enough to raise an eyebrow or two.

They’re illegal and talked down upon because the higher up you are in government, generally speaking, the crazier, lazier, and more corrupt you are! Government is a corrupt system to begin with, and so climbing it requires a corrupt attitude and mindset towards… Well, everything.

What Are The Dangers?

-Fear. If you feel a lot of fear and/or you ingest with people who feel a lot of fear the experience may not be very beneficial. It can become a danger if you or somebody else panics due to the volatile effect psychedelics often give us, especially if we act on this panic instead of simply letting it pass through.

-Paranoia. As an offshoot from fear we mostly have the law to thank for this one – if we feel paranoid that we’ll get caught after ingesting we’ll probably spend most of the experience looking out for law enforcement and/or people who would turn us in. If the paranoia is strong enough it can easily lead to a panic attack and undesirable actions.

-Mental illnesses. If you have a mental illness (whether it’s surfaced or hidden) or if your family has a history of mental illness then psyches probably aren’t for you. This is especially true for schizophrenia. The reason for this is because your mental state half determines the nature of your trip… Although I’ll be honest, I’ve never taken psychedelics with schizophrenia, so I’m not sure what actually happens… However, I feel like airing on the side of caution as far as this side is concerned.

-An unideal set and setting, coming across the wrong people/wrong situations (bad influence). What tends to happen when your set (your mindset) and setting (your physical situation, things, and people) isn’t set up properly is you come across situations and mental stuff that make the experience unideal, or even dangerous. We want to avoid bad influence more than anything, which is why I always suggest being alone during these experiences. I’ve also written a post on how we can properly introduce psychedelics to modern society, and the solution greatly helps with this problem!

How We Can Use Them Most Effectively

It’s difficult to put into words just how amazing reality is after ingesting psychedelics. And it’s quite dynamic too – you can eat some psilocybin mushrooms and take a nice stroll in the woods to have the experience go one way, or you can take the same dosage and lie in a dark room with your eyes closed for a completely different experience. What helps define these experiences are the intentions you have before and during the ingestion, and your mindset/beliefs in general.

Some amazing intentions to have before taking these substances are, “I intend to learn as much as I can today.”  “I intend to deeply meditate with these substances.” “I intend to heal myself.” “I intend to self-analyze and uproot my detrimental beliefs.” “I intend to form my best perspective.” “I intend to heal others.” “I intend to be.” “I intend to pay attention and see what’s really going on here.” Having these intentions really makes these experiences useful and provides the opportunity for long-lasting, positive change. I’ve observed that if we take psychedelics without these intents or similar intents the experience is shallow and doesn’t provide very much meaning.

Also, I encourage you to keep your physical environment worry and stress-free. Canceling any plans you have, not being in the company of bad people, not being in the city (I can personally attest for that one) are all great ways to improve your setting. This is almost just as important as having a great mindset.

And beyond this, if enough of us take psychedelics with these intentions (and perhaps there are better ones) we can live fulfilling lives, be able to heal ourselves and others, be influential for the right reasons/ends, act in the right ways, and tend to the earth. These are some of the major things that too many of us lack… Thankfully it’s an easy fix 🙂

Conclusion

So, if you’re reading this as a legal official I encourage you to take this information to heart and do your best to lift the ban and the negative influence the law has on psychedelics. But even if you don’t, that’s okay – more and more of us are waking up and taking them anyway, without your consent, without your permission… Because it’s the right thing to do 🙂
